1. The bike is likely backfiring on deceleration - you can get rid of a lot of that by when slowing down - close the throttle completely.
2. The bike will "whoof" when you turn the engine off - but as the miles go up and the carbon burns out the nose will decline
3. Read any of the gazillion messages about removing the white spacer
4. Don't forget to keep the rubber side down
